Can anyone suggest what this might be. Sorry, no photo. Seen 17th July on a bird feeder on farm land in Suffolk, UK. Larger than a sparrow, almost thrush sized, maybe a bit smaller. Looked just like a giant garden warbler. Uniform olive green, no speckles or stripe. Shading to paler cream/grey on throat. Its outstanding feature was a powerful dagger shaped bill, very unwarblerlike. It had no trouble shoving goldfinches and sparrows off the feeder. Sorry, no more details. I didn't have my binoculars with me.

I'm thinking it was probably a reed warbler, though definitely quite olive green. Could it have been a Great Reed Warbler or a Marsh Warbler or is that very unlikely?

Someone suggested a juvenile starling - that would fit with the aggressive attitude, and would warblers be interested in seeds from a bird feeder?
