Hi folks, I saw a bird I didn't recognise earlier - I was walking on farmland in north Suffolk and there is a field that has remained unploughed for over a year, which is now full of weeds and diverse life. There are dozens of larks nesting there and this bird resembled a lark in size, shape and colour, except for a striking yellow throat. The yellow did not extend to the head or the belly, all the other feathers were sandy brown.

I would appreciate your thoughts, many thanks.

Could it have been a female yellowthroat?
