Identify Bird By Order, Family etc

Work down the Order / Family / Species heirarchy and then click "Search"

Select the Order and the click "Search"

Select the category of birds you wish to search in and then refine your search below

Select the Species and the click "Search"

Optionally, select the size of the bird - judgemental, but you can define sizes in "Your preferences"

Optionally, select the Tail Length - short = not much tail / medium = 50% body length / long = body length

Optionally, select the Beak Shape - note "spatulate" is used for duck bills etc and Puffin is a "special"

Optionally, select the Beak Length - short = < head size / medium = head size / long = > head size

Optionally, select the Beak Width - note "width" applies vertically as well as horizontally
