A little smaller than a Canada Goose. Near water, webbed feet - straw coloured. Plumage is black on top, with white rump and white body. Distinctive head has black narrow small crest red face, straw coloured beak typical duck beak. Shortish tail. 

Similar possible female? nearby but totally white apart from red face. Not shy

This is a Muscovy Duck.  The most obvious character of a muscovy is the red facial skin. Naturally their plumage would be black with a greenish sheen but through domestication they're now more often pied or completely white.
